Savingandinvesting.com is a pre-eminent multi-media
provider of rigorous financial knowledge and financial literacy
instruction. At savingandinvesting.com, we
believe that knowledge is the most important thing when it comes
to saving and investing. Savingandinvesting.com
aims to provide rigorous, well-founded financial education through
various media, and deliver it by practitioners in the field.
We want to be associated with the most ethical and the most
well-thought out approaches to this subject, with a view to
empowering savers and investors to make better choices, save
more and realize better returns. We do not believe in promoting short-cuts or high
margin products that over-promise and under-deliver. For us,
this subject is not about greed, short-cuts, opinions or speculation
– it is about being informed, and about being rewarded
for participating in our financial system in order to provide
better lives for ourselves and others that we care about.
Savingandinvesting.com was founded in 2005,
with the publication of the book ‘Saving and
Investing – Financial Literacy and Financial Knowledge
that Everyone Needs and Deserves to Have!’.
The book has been featured extensively in the press and the
author, Michael Fischer, featured extensively in the media. The book has been supplemented
with a channel on YouTube – which has also been featured
as a part of numerous other blogs, and an affiliation to cover
more detailed aspects of taxes, with TaxCafe – a leading
provider of detailed tax information. More recently, a leading
finance blog, and a forum for exchange of ideas were added. We believe in highlighting information that has withstood the
test of time in an unbiased manner. At savingandinvesting.com,
transactions are information-based and not product-based in
the first instance, with a focus on facts, allowing we believe
almost anyone to understand the core of this very important
subject, and take concrete steps towards fulfilling their saving
and investing dreams!
